Jack Barford (b. Grimsby, 1991) is a British artist and designer in Brighton, United Kingdom. His furniture sculptures evoke a surreal and anthropomorphic world containing a living tableau of theatrical science fiction. He bridges mediums and invites a sense of familiarity and otherworldliness to rethink artistic and craft boundaries in his work.

Intertwining themes of identity and sexuality with broader societal dialogues, his sculptures are a subtle evolution of self-exploration, queerness, neurodiversity, and mental health. Influenced by personal experiences and external forces, each piece in Jack's creative journey informs the next in a reflective process. In Jack's words, "I want to realise that alien part inside and affirm these parts of myself - a journey of combined self and influence."

Realised through a blend of cutting-edge technology and handcrafted materials, clinical precision and organic warmth bring life to Jack's abstracted bodily forms. Through 3D rendering and physical manipulation, he creates intriguing and challenging shapes that invite touch while provoking thought.

Jack has a B.A. from University of the Arts London.
